About Me - Wedding Photography in India

I am a candid, creative wedding photographer based in New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune and Colombo. I quit my job as a commercial lawyer to become a photographer.  When I was 9 years old my grandfather gave me a Leica.

That is a lie.  He actually gave me his typewriter.  But that wouldn't make a very compelling story on a site like this.

I love taking pictures, and particularly pictures of people, and weddings have given me the opportunity to capture an incredible variety of faces and a truly staggering range of emotions.  Being a wedding photographer in India is particularly exciting because of the myriad settings and visual elements that you tend to encounter.

I've shot over 200 weddings all over India and abroad (Australia, Sri Lanka, Oman, UK) as of the time of writing. I've shot Tamil weddings, Goan Catholic weddings, Parsi weddings, Kerala weddings, Rajasthani weddings, Bihari weddings, UP weddings, Sri Lankan catholic weddings, Bengali weddings, non-denominational weddings, Kerala Christian weddings, Sikh weddings, and every hybrid you can think of from Malayali-Sardarni to Irani-Kannadiga, Bengali-Sindhi, Catholic-Buddhist and Punjabi-Tamilian. And let me not forget the cross-border combinations like Indian-Peruvian, American-Indian and Danish-Anglo-Indian. I've shot all over the country from the big cities I am based out of, to smaller centres like Goa, Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Jaipur, Erode, Mangalore and Kottayam, among others.

My wedding photography has been featured in publications like Femina, Wedding Vows, Atelier, The Hindu, Sunday Mid-Day, Times Trends and several websites and blogs. I've done editorial work for Rolling Stone, BBC Good Food and Business Standard.  I also shoot portraits, concerts, architecture and food.
